Inspired by Bob Buford’s book Halftime, Don transitioned from the business world to ministry, serving 13 years as Metro and Regional Director for Young Life. In 2007, he founded Alliance Ministries to coach men and women in discovering their Kingdom calling and connecting them to ministry opportunities.
As a member of the Halftime leadership council, he trained affiliates worldwide and later co-created The 210 Project, expanding Halftime’s impact. Now, through Generous Life, he guides friends of great capacity toward a life of meaningful generosity. His latest book, Your True Reflection, explores identity in Christ. He and his wife, Susie, live in Birmingham, Alabama, with their three grown children—DJ, Jamie, and Jake.
